UNAIR NEWS The academicians of Faculty of Psychology 51 is going to hold another Psychofest. It is the tenth year of its organization, this years theme is quite interesting.
The theme is Relations between Human Authenticity and the System. It is aimed to make people aware of others and surroundings.
Humans do not live alone, but there are others with their own characters and should be related to each other, said Dr. Dewi Retno Suminar, M.Psi, in a message toUNAIR News. So from it, there is a tagline Life is not only about us. There is you, him, and them.
There are six big events in this years Psychofest, Indonesian Psychology Ball League (IPBL), Open Psychology, National Psychology Debate Competition, Psychofest Conference, Psychology Film Festival, and Bazaar & Music Psychofest.
The events are for different targets. IPBL is for senior high school students. There is a basketball, futsal, badminton and modern dance and photography competition. It has been started since October. Beside IPBL, the senior high school students can take parts in the Open Psychology Olympiad and seminar held in Psychology department, UNAIR Campus B.
Beside high school students, university students can take parts in a debate competition. The debate competition is participated by all Psychology students in Indonesia and held in Campus B UNAIR.
For film enthusiasts, either from students or public, can take parts in film festival held in November 25-27 in Youth Center and Cak Durasim Theatre of Arts Surabaya.
The main event is Psychofest held on Sunday, December 12 in Grand City Surabaya. There will be bazaar, UNAIR Psychology talent show, music show and guest stars.
