Hendro said that, cities in Europe have gone through changes since early 1800. If the cities used to be categorized as garden city and broadacre city then they are now heading towards future city.
淚n future cities, there are some measures taken to reduce the negative impacts of climate change. There is a plan to reduce 80% of glass house gas by 2050, the use of sustainable energy to 80 % by 2050, every building can reduce energy consumption to 80% and reduce transportation emission to 40%, said Hendro.
To create a sustainable city, implementations from many aspects are needed. From the socio-cultural aspect, developmental related policy will involve all the inhabitants while from the transportation, cra sharing is implemented.
