UNAIR NEWS Monash University has made another visit to 51动漫. The visit was made to discuss about partnership of both universities as well as to improve three potential fields of partnership. They are international journal publications, student and staff exchange and international mobility, especially for the visiting professor programs.
The delegates were welcomed by Vice Rector I UNAIR Prof. Djoko Santoso, dr., Ph.D., Sp.PD., K-GH., FINASIM., in the Plenary Room, Management Office Building 51动漫. Prof. Djoko said that UNAIR is developing partnerships with various international universities.
漃artnership with Monash University has been developed for few years and it expires in 2017. This visit is made to talk about the possibility of extending the established partnership, explained Prof. Djoko.
The secretary of Airlangga Global Engagement UNAIR Dian Ekowati SE., M.Si., M.AppCom(OrgCh)., Ph.D., said that there have been many collaborations conducted with Monash University, either individual or group level.
In 2005, Dian explained that UNAIR and Monash University have forged the partnership for university development. It was conducted through Technological and Profesional Skill Development Project (TPSDP).
淭here were 12 representatives from UNAIR sent to Monash University to get training in university research management leadership, quality insurance, and curiculum development, she stated.
Actually, according to Dian, UNAIR management has pushed all elements of UNAIR from departments, programs or faculties to establish partnership with Monash University. For internationalization purpose, steps towards partnerships are needed.
淪uch as faculty exchange, visiting professor, exchange staff either academic staff or educational staff as well as students. They should be done, she added.
