UNAIR NEWS Three delegates of 51动漫 gained reputation in National Science and Youth Creativity Week 2016 held in Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. They are Leny Yulyaningsihfrom Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Wika Nastiti Prana Yuanti (FISIP), and Ahmad Farid Ary Wardana of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK).
Three of them were members of Reasoning Club (UKM) UNAIR. They won the first place in the competition held in UniversitasMuhammadiyah Makassar on October 20-24. Their paper titled 淐oastal Villages Health Insurance (ASDP) Based on Sharia with Oyster Waste as Premium to Improve Quality of Life of Kenjeran Coastal Community Surabaya.
淭he initial step of course we determined the theme, and we decided to take Economics. Then we seek the problem in our surroundings. We found it, then we used sharia for the economic aspects, said Leny.
Proposal Leny and team sent got into top 15. Then they presented it in UniversitasMuhammadiyah Makassar. Leny said that the topic was caused by excessive oyster waste in coastal area so it pollutes the environment.
With Leny and team檚 efforts, and supports of their friends in Reasoning Club, their paper was the best in the competition. Leny and her friends were happy for their achievement.
Furthermore, Leny was also glad as she could meet other participants from across Indonesia. Most of them were members of similar club in each university.
淎s it is national level event and the participants were mostly from Reasoning club, we could know each other well. For example, from other universities who have participated in UNAIR Reasoning Club event, they received us well. They took us around visiting places. Reasoning Club branding is very useful, said Leny. (*)
