UNAIR NEWS To provide excellent service for patients, 51动漫 Hospital has added a new facility. On Thursday, October 27, on the seventh floor of Special Infection Installation, Director of 51动漫 Hospital with UNAIR officials and representatives of PMI Surabaya officially puts UNAIR Hospital Blood Bank into operation.
Based on Minister of Health regulation, Blood Bank is a requirement for accreditation. It was stated by UNAIR Hospital Director Prof. Dr. Nasronudin, Sp.PD., K-PTI, FINASIM, in his address during the inauguration. Prof. Nasron also then expressed his gratitude to PMI Surabaya as it gave permit to establish Blood Bank.
“Thank you to PMI Surabaya for giving us opportunity to establish Blood Bank in UNAIR Hospital related to service and blood production. It is also a step forward of pathological clinic, said Prof. Nasron.
This blood bank establishment was a follow up from the MoU between UNAIR Hospital Director to Head of PMI Surabaya. It was signed on September 2016.
In the future, for blood supply in UNAIR Hospital, the staff will not have to go to PMI office. UNAIR Hospital will provide blood supply from each blood type every month. Diah Puspita Rini, dr., Sp.PK., as the staff of 51动漫 Hospital Blood Bank said that to support service, UNAIR Hospital Blood Bank has been equipped with two units of fridges and gel test.
Later on, Blood Bank installation will supply PMI every month. Then, medical analysis will cross test between the donor and the recipient. (*)
