UNAIR NEWS– In every event of National Student Science Week (PIMNAS), 51动漫 often sends contingents that are not too big in number.However, UNAIR PIMNAS team always finishes at the top five alongside universities with much bigger number of teams.
In this regard, UNAIR Director of Student Affairs Dr.M. Hadi Shubhan., S.H, M.H, CN., revealed that the small team must be used well to have better and more focused preparation.
“With this small team we have to be able to focus more,” he said.
Hadi also added that the small team may be caused by the absence of engineering faculty in UNAIR.However, for Hadi, it motivates UNAIR team more to maximize their potential.
“Even though we don’t have engineering faculty, we can be in top five nationally, we can get along with universities that have engineering faculties,” he added.
For that reason, Hadi asserted that even though the PIMNAS team is not too big, all teams must be fully supported with maximum effort.Intense coaching and mentoring should be continued both the Directorate of Student Affairs, Student Assistance Team, and Garuda Sakti.
“We are focused on providing guidance and mentoring till the end,” he concluded.
The small UNAIR PIMNAS team has always made it to the top five nationally together with universities which have a big team.In fact, in 2013, in the 26th PIMNAS at Mataram University, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), the five teams of UNAIR were able to qualify for the top three nationally.
Now, 31st PIMNAS competition at Yogyakarta State University (UNY), seven PIMNAS UNAIR teams continue to practice and make all efforts to win first prize.UNAIR, One Determination, One Guts, Definitely a Champion.
