UNAIR NEWS– Students in the Semi Autonomous Body (BSO) Business Studies Forum (FSB) Faculty of Law 51动漫, made a visit to the Surabaya District Attorney, Tuesday, October 17.The visit was conducted to know the prosecutor better as a state lawyer.
The visit entitled “Knowing the Role of Public Prosecutor in the Civil and State Administration” was followed by 35 students who are also members of FSB or none FSB members.
“We deliberately made this visit in the district attorney office because we want to show that the district attorney office is not only concerned about criminal but also civil as well as state administration.In addition, the FSB is engaged in business law does not limit its members to learn only about civil law, “said Firyal Iqbal as head of the committee.
Furthermore, Iqbal also said that this visit to the Surabaya District Attorney was the first time.However, he had made company visits with his colleagues such as to PT.Petrokimia Gresik and the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU).Furthermore, FSB members also visited other universities to attend invitations tolegal discussionsas well as guest lectures such as in Brawijaya University, Gadjah Mada University, and University of Indonesia.
The arrival of students to the Surabaya District Attorney was welcomed by the Surabaya District Attorney Didik Farkhan Alisyahdi SH, MH, and Sidharta Praditya Revinda Putra SH, MH, as one of the State Attorneys.Both provide insight to students through their presentation.
On this occasion Sidharta presented about the duties and authority of the Attorney General, the scope of civil and TUN, procedures to use the State Attorney Service (JPN), and the ethics of JPN in the law.
“In order to be able to use the services of JPN, the State or Government or BUMN or BUMD shall submit a written request to the DA Office to provide legal assistance, legal considerations and other legal actions.Members of the public may submit a written or oral request to provide legal services in the civil and TUN fields.The application is accompanied by a special power of attorney (SKK) as the legal basis for JPN acting for and on behalf of the applicant as the authorizer, “Sidharta said.
In addition, Didik also provides an overview of the requirements and procedures of the prosecutor’s enrollment that made students very enthusiastic.(*)
