UNAIR NEWS– In order to get a deeper introduction to Bidikmisi, Bidik Misi Organization (AUBMO) invited all bidikmisi 2018 freshmen on Sunday, August 5.The program titled ” 2018 Bidikmisi Meet Up ” was attended by all the members of AUBMO, DKF (Faculty Coordinating Council), along with the previous board of AUBMO.
“Through this Bidikmisi Meet Up we want to share information that could help bidikmisi freshmen. We motivate and explain their responsibilities as bidikmisi scholarship recipients,” explained Muhammad Nur Rouf, Head of AUBMO 2018.
The implementation of the event involved the participation of bidikmisi freshmen as committee.Previously, there was an opening for students who wanted to try to be in committee.
The freshmen who became the committee were guided and assisted by AUBMO management, especially from the human resource development division, the AUBMO division which designed and planned the activity.
“We provide opportunities for freshmen to learn about responsibility.That way, they will know and get a picture of the organization of an event, ” he added.
Despite being relatively new, as the first experience being a committee, they could finish their duties responsibly.Rouf added that the concept was not much different from last year檚.However, the preparation of the event this time was made more carefully.
Due to the tight schedule of university activities, the 2018 Bidikmisi Meet Up must be pushed back for a few days from the original schedule.However, Rouf was grateful that in the end the activity could be finally realized.
The tight schedule did not reduce the enthusiasm of freshmen to attend the program which was conducted in a simple, but memorable way.They get information about Bidikmisi UNAIR organization which is one of the best Bidikmisi organizations in Indonesia.
AUBMO also provided opportunities for students to follow internship within a certain time period known as TEA (Try an Experience with AUBMO).The Bidikmisi freshmen can learn the ins and outs of the organization.
Finally, Rouf advised the bidikmisi freshmen in 2018 to finish their education on time and make the best use of the scholarship.In addition, he encouraged them to continue to excel.Both in academic and non-academic aspects.(*)
