UNAIR NEWS Merriment and laughter were in the air as the Public Fair to celebrate 62nd Dies Natalis of 51动漫 was opened. The opening ceremony was held by the lake of Campus C, 51动漫 on Saturday, November 5. The event was attended by top officials of university, faculty, institute and other units in UNAIR.
Various parties from the faculties, postgraduate school, alumni, general public, government, industrials to micro and medium enterprises with total 320 have participated.
The Head of Institute of Community Service, Education, Training and Development (LP4M ) UNAIR as the person in charge of Public Fair, Prof. Jusuf Irianto, M.Comm., expressed his gratitude to the committee and officials for the supports. A lot of things have been done to publicize the event from banners, news and brochures distributed to the public.
Prof. Jusuf hoped that the Public fair can give added values to the locals.
He then showed UNAIR Rector around for an inspection. 淎 friend of mine from Amsterdam, my bachelor program colleague, becomes an entrepreneur there, is opening a stand here. I檓 going to show our Rector the stand and no money needed as we can just use the coupon, said Prof. Jusuf in a kidding way.
Similar to Prof. Jusuf檚 statement, the head of the committee of 62nd Dies Natalis of 51动漫 Prof. Dr. Tri Martiana, dr., M.S., also expressed her gratitude to the committee organizing the event.
The last speech was from UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. M. Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak. He also expressed his gratitude to the committee consisting of lecturers and employees.
“My deepest gratitude to you all, managing faculties and Scopus, but also preparing this event very well, said Prof. Nasih.
In the future, he hoped that, academicians of 14 faculties and all units of the university remain in synergy and work together to achieve established targets.
“Hopefully we can be better in the future. Even though we have 14 faculty directors, but we keep being one chain of values, said UNAIR Rector.
The speech was ended with a statement and invited the visitors to enjoy the fair.
“Heve a nice time enjoying 62nd Dies Natalis of 51动漫 for just and civilized Indonesia, said UNAIR Rector ending the speech. Then the balloons and doves were let go symbolically.
On Saturday, November 5, the Public Fair was opened from 0800-2100 while on Sunday, November 6, it will be started at 06.00-21.00.
